The Steel Woods, featuring Wes Bayliss and Jason "Rowdy" Cope, are bringing a new sound, philosophy and attitude to the stage. Cope is from Asheville NC and played with Jamey Johnson for a number of years. Stringing together lyrically strong songs that draw from bluegrass, country and rock, Bayliss and Cope have created a southern sound that is hard to categorize.
